PHOTOGRAPHER and naturalist David Bailey gave an insight into the rich array of wildlife which can be found alongside railway lines last week.
Mr Bailey, who shares his name with the legendary fashion photographer, has studied the flora and fauna along the embankment of the West Somerset Railway.
He spoke at the Ellendune Centre in Wroughton to residents who are planning to visit the railway in June.
More than 50 people attended the talk on Friday.
Organiser Bob Collins said: "It was a very informative lecture about the 300 species of plants and flowers that can grow along railways. After hearing the talk, we are all looking forward to our trip in the summer."
