RESIDENTS have willingly signed a petition to ask for parking restrictions on their road.
Legally parked cars are causing chaos on The Tynings in Corsham by blocking the narrow road.
The town council asked Wiltshire County Council to visit the site to see the problem for themselves. Town councillor James Fraser said: "The residents have raised no objections to parking restrictions, which could mean double yellow lines along one side of the road."
The town council now awaits a response from the county council to see if restrictions will be put in place.
