Double depends on 'Stock
A WEST Grimstead promotion double to the top Division remains a possibility but not if Laver-stock A have the last word.
Grimstead A have already won the Division Two title, but either Grim-stead B or Laverstock A will go up with them, and a quirk of the fixture list has pitted the rivals against each other in the final matches.
Second-placed Grim-stead B, who won 5-4 at Spire A, play both, with Laverstock also set to face their own club's B side.
A struggling side made news for change, when Spire B won for the first time after seven successive defeats in Division Three. Their 5-4 victory at home to Ludgershall was mostly the work of the men, particularly Nick Martel and Chris Abbey who completed personal hat-tricks when winning with their mixed partners to clinch the match.
