MID-WILTSHIRE SUNDAY LEAGUE: SELECTABOOK and The Dolphin will contest the final of the Linpac Sports and Social Cup after both ran our comfortable winners in their respective ties.

Runaway league leaders Selectabook fell behind to a Gary Campbell strike in their clash with the Snooker Club, but were on level terms when Luke Rudman equalised.

Julian Alexander's fine finish on the stroke of half time gave the Bookmen the lead and Marcus Wallen's cool finish in the second half ended the game as a contest, with Alexander's second goal making sure late on.

The Dolphin hammered Kings Arms 6-1. Andy Bevan-Witts opened the scoring for the Dolphin when he finished off a good move and Jonathon Emm gave them a two-goal lead at half time.

Bevan-Witts and Emm both completed their hat-tricks after the break, before Kings Arms scored a consolation through Dean Murden.

In-form Bar OC reached the semi-final of the Roundway Cup, sponsored by Cereal Partners UK, with a 4-1 win over the Fox and Hounds.

In a well-controlled game refereed by last-minute stand in Philip Oliver, Bar OC took the lead after 15 minutes when Andy Webster fired into the bottom corner from Tom Evans' through ball.

Carl Jackson almost equalised for the Fox when his shot from 20 yards hit the crossbar and bounced onto the line, but Pete Swales scored with a diving header to double his side's lead at the break.

Evans was on hand to make it three in the second half. Foxes pulled one back on 85 minutes when Paul Sacjak was brought down in the area and Steve Beirne converted from the spot, but within seconds Andy Buller deflected Nick Harford's shot into the net to complete the visitors' win.

JB Lions join Bar OC in the semi-finals after their 5-2 home win over New Inn.

In the only league game of the day, Trowbridge Wanderers notched up only their second win of the season with a 1-0 victory over fellow strugglers Netheravon.

After a non-eventful first half, Wanderers grabbed the winner midway through the second half when Dan Light's flick on fell to Dillon Turner who lobbed the goalkeeper with a half-volley from 25 yards.

Wanderers' goalkeeper Scott Carrick made a useful save before Corey Bourne almost made it two with a sweet turn and shot that fell inches wide.
