FAMILIES are being asked to support fundraising by the Marlborough branch of the National Childbirth Trust to help it provide services for mothers.
Each year its funds come largely from spring and autumn sales of nearly new children's clothing, toys and nursery equipment held at the leisure centre.
The spring sale will be on April 6 between 10am and noon.
Eleanor Christmas said that the sale raised valuable funds to support NCT services, which include antenatal classes and breastfeeding support as well as parent support networks.
Marlborough NCT members have also been supporting the campaign to save the Devizes Hospital maternity unit from closure.
For more information about the sale call Christine Foulkes on (01672) 515305.
General enquiries about NCT services in the Marlborough area should be made to (01672) 519066. New mothers who would like to meet other new mums should contact (01672) 861259.
