JUNIOR RUGBY: CHIPPENHAM U14s made it a cup double on Sunday 16 March as they added the Wiltshire Cup to their trophy cabinet.
The Bristol Combination Cup winners dominated the first half and some slick handling gave Jon Pomfret the chance to score a brace of unconverted tries.
They continued in the same vein after the break, with PJ Rawson adding two more tries following some strong running. Both were converted by Lee Audis.
Chippenham's victory was marred when double try scorer Pomfret was taken to hospital with a dislocated shoulder.
Coach Alistair Hunt felt his side had been below par despite their win.
He said: "This was not one of our better matches. We did not play that well and I had to give them a few harsh words during the half time break. But, at the end of the day, the lads deserve their win and the Cup."
