TEACHERS from Cuba are in Wiltshire this week, visiting schools and education workers around the county.
Raquel Chongo Villegas and Maria Leticia Gonzalez Perez, will be visiting Wiltshire County Council as a part of their seven-day stay.
Paul Quantick from the county council said: "It is both a delight and an honour to be acting as host for these visitors.
"We hope they will be able to benefit from this visit through observing how our education system operates and build on the links that have already been established between Cuba and Wiltshire."
The visit follows a tour by a group of Wiltshire teachers who visited the Caribbean island in October.
Following the trip they set up links with a number of schools in Cuba and it is hoped those links will be strengthened by this return visit.
Teachers spokesman, Sharon Ibbotson from Salisbury, said: "It is a delight to be able to act as host for these two people because everybody gave us such a fantastic welcome when we went to Cuba."
