ADVENTUROUS Somerfield worker Nicci Cann soared into the skies on Tuesday after winning a nationwide staff draw to take part in a wing-walking stunt.
Mrs Cann, 32, leapt at the chance to fly 1,000 ft in the air and at 150mph, while attached to the wings of an Utterly Butterly biplane.
Mrs Cann said: "It was an incredible experience. I felt really sad when it was all over."
The challenge took place at RFC Rendcomb Airfield near Cirencester.
Mrs Cann said: "The staff were all excellent and they really made me feel safe and secure. The pilot was very suave and sophisticated and he did an excellent job.
"It is so difficult to put into words as it was so amazing. But I wasn't scared because I felt so secure. When I came down I just felt really emotional, because I had never experienced anything like it before."
Mrs Cann said she agreed to the challenge because she has an adventurous nature.
"I just can't say no to opportunities like this. I don't want to be 70 and say I haven't done anything with my life."
