DEVIZES TOWN'S season is in serious danger of falling apart.
Financial problems and a wretched league position had been masked by an excellent FA Vase run, but since tumbling out of that competition the cracks have started to appear in earnest.
Pete Tripp's side now find themselves deep in the Premier Division drop zone and assistant boss Ali Belcher has added to the club's woes by stepping down this week.
Devizes host Bridport tomorrow and failure to add to their meagre tally of three league wins will leave them staring at a return to the First Division.
Melksham have had their fair share of troubles in the top flight of late, but an excellent 4-0 win over Highworth in the Wiltshire Senior Cup gives them a final to look forward too and some extra confidence for the trip to Team Bath tomorrow. Robbie Lardner's side will have to pull out all the stops against the division leaders who seem destined for the Dr Martens League on the back of their run to the first round of the FA Cup.
In the First Division, Corsham Town travel to Street.
Co-managers John Freegard and Dave King will be looking for a repeat performance of last Saturday's 2-1 win over leaders Exmouth rather than Monday's 2-0 defeat to Bitton. Player-boss Freegard is still carrying an injury and could miss out along with fellow veteran Frankie Coleman.
