PUPILS at six Swindon schools who have been taking part in a film-making project will see their work hit the silver screen this weekend.
The results of the This Is Me project are being premiered at Cineworld at the Greenbridge Retail Park on Sunday before an audience of 300 people.
Around 100 youngsters at schools in Parks and Penhill have produced six short films over the past three months.
Using equipment from the Mobile Media Club, which is attached to Swindon's Cre8 Studios, the children have created dramas and documentaries about their lives, aspirations, friendships and hopes.
They have had access to the latest digital equipment, and have been given valuable advice by professional filmmakers.
Shahina Johnson, artistic director of the Mobile Media Club, said: "Through This Is Me, we have reached 100 young people who have learnt skills which have boosted their confidence and range of experience, and created a captivating insight into their lives."
The films will be shown to an invited audience, including HTV presenter Fiona Wilson.
Fiona, who was the first woman at HTV to become a multi-skilled journalist and camera operator, will hand out certificates of achievement.
Sunday's screening starts at 10.30pm.
