TRAIN company First Great Western is providing almost 3,000 extra seats for football fans travelling to the Millennium Stadium next Saturday, March 29, for Wales versus Azerbai-jan.
Scheduled services from London Paddington and Swansea to Cardiff Central will be providing an hourly service from major stations in the Thames Valley, including Swindon, and South Wales.
A High Speed Train service will run from Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff Central, returning after the match, and an extra service will run from Newport to Cardiff Central.
Trains from Swindon to Cardiff (£22 return) will run at 9.55am, 10.55am, 11.55am and 12.55am. Return trains from Cardiff to Swindon will run at 5.25pm, 6.25pm, 7.25pm and 8.25pm.
Phil West, First Great Western's supplementary services manager, said: "These extra services will provide 1,500 more seats both to and from the match, in addition to our scheduled services and those run by other train operators. Fans should remember that a crowd control system will be in operation at Cardiff Central, and be prepared for a short wait on the return journey."
