LES Dennis is coming to Swindon.
The star is one of many celebrities set to appear on the Wyvern Theatre's stage this spring.
Comedians Julian Clary and Freddie Starr and musician Julian Lloyd Webber also feature in the programme.
Theatre bosses say tickets for the line-up of entertainment are already selling fast.
Wyvern marketing manager Nicky Western said: "We are really pleased with this season's programme and some shows are already nearly sold out. It is fantastic."
Les Dennis, whose recent split from actress Amanda Holden dominated tabloid newspapers pages for weeks, arrives in town on May 4, fresh from featuring on TV's Celebrity Big Brother last year.
Reflecting on a varied TV career spanning some 30 years, he says he will celebrate avoiding the real world of work. And the former host of hit game show Family Fortunes promises not to repeat his impersonation of Coronation Street character Mavis Riley.
On Thursday you can catch Britain's leading Morrisey inpressionist Harry Hill.
The award-winning comic and close personal friend of David Bowie will hit the stage running with his cocktail of gag routines, musical comedy and his shaggy dog stories.
Julian Clary, whose parents live in Swindon, is embarking on his first big national tour in four years, and should arrive in Swindon on April 10.
With his signature brand of camp humour, Julian says he cannot wait to "get to grips with the general public once again".
The following night is a musical one, with Andrew Lloyd Webber's cellist brother Julian accompanied by pianist Rebecca Woolcot.
On a less conventional note, celebrity steeplejack Fred Dibnah will appear on April 27.
Miss Western said: "Fred has quite a following in Swindon and is almost sold out.
"His fascination with steam and our railway heritage seem to be a winning combination."
Edwina Currie, the ex-minister who had an affair with former prime minister John Major, and Kate Adie, BBC war correspondent, are also appearing at the theatre, as part of the Swindon Festival of Literature.
And Liverpool-born Freddie Starr comes to the town on June 16. Miss Western added: "He has been here a few times before and is a real favourite."
Further information and booking details are available on Swindon 524481.
