Bradford fought back and got their reward just before half-time when the Cooper-Avon backs were put under pressure forcing a loose pass, which was intercepted by Joe Beauchamp.

In the second half Cooper-Avon would have scored but for some desperate and fierce Bradford tackling.

The breakthrough came five minutes from the end when a turnover in Bradford's half led to a breakaway and was finished by Craig Rankin. Joe Beauchamp converted.

Bradford soon scored their third try. They collected the ball from the restart and used their forwards to set up a good platform for the backs which allowed Craig Rankin to out pace the Cooper-Avon defence.
