PERFECT conditions allowed for a fast flowing game of rugby.
The breakthrough came when the Cooper-Avon centre broke through some Bradford tackles. The player was eventually tackled five metres out and from the following ruck the ball popped out and a Cooper-Avon forward was on hand to score.
Bradford fought back and got their reward just before half-time when the Cooper-Avon backs were put under pressure forcing a loose pass, which was intercepted by Joe Beauchamp.
In the second half Cooper-Avon would have scored but for some desperate and fierce Bradford tackling.
The breakthrough came five minutes from the end when a turnover in Bradford's half led to a breakaway and was finished by Craig Rankin. Joe Beauchamp converted.
Bradford soon scored their third try. They collected the ball from the restart and used their forwards to set up a good platform for the backs which allowed Craig Rankin to out pace the Cooper-Avon defence.
