Wanborough'S Paul Parsons scored all three goals for to put his side 3-1 up against Dunbar Westside, but the Intermediate leaders fought back to nick a point.

Wanborough needed a victory to put the pressure on, but fell behind to a strike from Mike Wilson before Parsons levelled from the spot.

Parsons was again on hand to force the ball over the line followed a goalmouth scramble before the break.

The striker completed his hat-trick soon after the restart, but in the closing stages Rich Saunders scored with a half-volley and Rick Hewitson equalised at the death, much to the relief of Dunbar boss Jo O'Rourke, who said: "I thought we were beaten but the lads fought back well against a good Wanborough side."

In the only other game in the section, Trowbridge Town Reserves beat Biddestone Reserves 4-0, Martin Penman, Paul Ford, David Campbell and Lee Haywood the scorers.

The top five sides in the Junior Section are separated by just two points and they all picked up wins.

Cricklade Reserves were the section's highest scorers beating Chiseldon Castrol 9-1. Ian Ross (3), Darren Swaddon (2), Paul Tranter, Craig Ratcliffe, Richard Swaddon and Dave Devine on target.

Leaders Aldbourne Reserves beat local rivals Marlborough Town 3-1, Nick O'Dwyer (2) and Paul Day for Aldbourne, and Ferndale Rodbourne scored a goal in each half to beat Down Ampney 2-0. Craig Dobson and Terry Offer were on target.

Title favourites Wootton Bassett United beat Sporting HKQ 2-1 with the winner coming in the 93rd minute from Gary Loveday.

Blunsdon United and Wootton Bassett A shared the points in a 2-2 draw, Brannigan (2) scoring for United and Owen Greenway and Adam O'Keefe for Bassett.

West Swindon drew 1-1 with Dunbar Westside.

Purton A visited Bromham and were beaten 4-0, Jim Sandiford, Jerry Thompson, Danny Powell and Darren Brown getting their names on the scoresheet.

All three cup sides in the Premier Division chalked up maximum points to keep the title race wide open.

League leaders Shrewton United led the way with a 9-0 victory over visitors Purton Reserves.

Shaun Collins hit a hat-trick in the rout as the league's highest scorers brought their goals column to a staggering 126 with seven matches left to play.

Second-placed Wroughton found themselves a goal down at the break against lowly Pewsey Vale Res but fought back well in the second half to run out 3-1 winners.

Third-in-the-table Stratton Crosslink had to battle hard for their 1-0 win over strong Trowbridge Town side.

Crosslink's Alan Blake emerged the hero with the only goal.

Steve Roddy was Bradford Town's man of the match, scoring four times for his side in their 5-3 away win over Marlborough Town.

Biddestone made hard work of beating bottom club Chiseldon Castrol 2-0. The visitors put through their own goal at the start of the second half and Jamie Lyons seized victory with a strike in the last minute.

Corsham Town and Aldbourne ground out a dour 0-0 draw at Lacock Road and Warminster Town beat visitors Malmesbury Vics Reserves 3-0 thanks to two goals from Jason Guy and one from Craig Lewis.

Devizes Town Reserves gained a 3-1 away success over Cricklade Town. Jamie Bays, Andy Davies and Owen Brian were on target for the visitors.
