Chocolate may not sound like the most important ingredient to a successful wedding - but Evening Advertiser Bride of the Year Lucy Griffin is determined to get the details right.
And with the help of La Zahra chocolate gift shop, in Victoria Road, she hopes to create the perfect wedding favours.
Lucy, 20, who won the £8,000 Bride of the Year wedding package last November, said: "The choice was amazing. I think special chocolates are a nice touch that guests can take home if they don't eat them on the big day."
The two chocolates will be presented in a square box, which matches the colour of the bridesmaids' dresses.
"The colour is top secret and I still haven't quite decided the sort of chocolates. But the white praline ones looked lovely," she added.
So Lucy plans to make a second visit to taste the chocolates with her fianc Neil Zerebecki, 23.
Neil said: "Lucy is more a chocaholic than me but I am coming along next time to give them a try."
The couple, who live in Osprey Close, Covingham, are excited about the wedding, which takes place on August 2 at St Andrew's Church in Wanborough.
