GRANTS worth £1,136,286 are to be handed out by Swindon Council to voluntary groups over the coming year.
The funding is up for discussion when the council cabinet meets on Wednesday.
Annually the council gives grants to a variety of groups to help it meet objectives in relation to social inclusion, equality, lifelong learning and other areas.
Among the groups to be given support are: Swindon and District Citizen's Advice Bureau (£180,447), Swindon Race Equality Council (£123,384) and Voluntary Action Swindon (£65,900).
