SWINDON Town Ladies left it late against Exeter City as they snatched a 2-1 win in the South West Combination.

A last-gasp double from Nikki Watts, struck inside the final 12 minutes, earned Town Ladies victory.

Town threatened early on Lucy Bailey the first to test City keeper Maxime Coup, then Fiona Baldwin headed Watts' cross over the bar.

City's Josie Copp then fired wide before Becky Fold's low drive was well saved by Town's Becky Powell.

However, City got the breakthrough a minute before half-time Anita James and Jo Goldsworthy creating an opening for Josie Copp to shoot low into the net.

On 78 minutes Town were level Watts latching onto Rich's cross.

Then Town snatched victory, Rich picking out Watts who steered the ball home.

They were a goal down after 10 minutes when Kendra Field bundled home a corner.

Spitfires levelled the score when Emma Blackwell rifled the ball into the net from 15 yards.
