IT'S very sad that campaigners for peace like me are often berated for 'appeasing' Saddam Hussein.
People who say this are surely missing the point. Instead we should be questioning why our Prime Minister is appeasing a far more dangerous tyrant, one who we KNOW has weapons of mass destruction, who has already invaded one country and has just invaded another, who treats the UN as simply a means to give his warmongering a sense of respectability and then discards the UN when it won't go along with his plans. Saddam may be a brutal dictator I'm not a supporter of him by any means but George Bush is a far greater threat to world peace.
