PEOPLE all over the UK have been putting the history of their area on the web - but there is a risk that Swindon may miss out.
The National Grid for Learning is running an online local history trail and has been inviting people to share their discoveries of their area.
Despite postings from all over the country, Swindon hasn't been represented yet.
To take part in the trail log onto: www.nfgl.gov.uk/ localhistory.
Visitors are asked some questions to get them thinking about their local history.
They are encouraged to go and carry out research some history of their own such as asking people about memories of a building, street or event.
They are then invited to post their findings on an online gallery for everyone to view.
People who submit their contributions will be entered in a prize draw for a year's family membership to English Heritage, Historic Scotland or Heritage in Wales.
Entries must be submitted by April 25.
