A NEIGHBOURHOOD renewal company has been set up to help revitalise the run down estates of Park North, South and Walcot East - and it needs your help.

The company will co-ordinate the £1.5 million funding being injected into the area by the South West of England Development Agency.

And residents living on the estates are entitled to vote on projects and how the money is spent and at forums designed to give them a voice.

A series of displays about projects already in progress or those that have been mooted and how the regeneration company will work are being planned for next month.

A raft of groups and organisations have already benefited from funding by the Neighbourhood Renewal Partnership. The first meeting is at Oaktree Primary School on Wednesday, April 9 at 7pm and the following day at 1.30pm at the Walcot Dome in Burghley Close.

The company is also searching for forum representatives - one from each of the three estates to sit on the management board of the company. Call 529938 for more details.
