CHILDREN'S video star Tractor Ted, created by Chippenham mum Alexandra Heard, will be a guest star at Lackham's Lambing Weekend.
Mrs Heard, of Spye Park, will be launching Tractor Ted's fourth video, at the Wiltshire College Lackham Spring event, Saturday and Sunday March 29 and 30.
Visitors can also see new born lambs, enjoy tractor and trailer rides and visit Lackham Museum.
Other attractions will include inflatables, tours of the animal centre and plant and flower sales.
The new video, Tractor Ted Meets the Animals, was filmed at Wiltshire College Lackham in February.
Tractor Ted, full size, will be making a special guest appearance at the Lambing Weekend when visitors can take part in a competition to win over £100 worth of prizes, and watch the new Tractor Ted video.
The new film shows Tractor Ted, a cheerful green cartoon character, explaining to children how modern machinery is used to care for the farm animals, using real life film.
Ted uses lots of catchy songs, puzzles and word games to help the children have fun and learn while watching.
Tractor Ted sees the new born animals, shows where they live, how they are fed and cared for. He also meets, Charlie the Vet, who in real life works with Chippenham's Hale Veterinary Practice.
Ted also helps to make fields safe for animals with hedge cutting, straw chopping, diggers, quad bikes and lots of different tractors at work in springtime.
The first three Tractor Ted videos, about making bread, growing potatoes and going milking, are available from local Sainsbury's stores and by mail-order, priced £9.99.
The lambing weekend opens 10am to 5pm and entrance costs £10 per car.
