FOOTBALL: HOLDERS George & Dragon will take on Premier Division rivals PFC Durrington next month in the final of the Morrison Cup after they beat Meadow Park 3-1 in Saturday's semi-final.

Jamie Glasson put them in front before Park equalised just before half time.

George & Dragon dominated the second half and retook the lead via a Jeff Softley penalty.

Glasson then notched his second to set up a final on April 21st at Salisbury City's ground (7.45pm) against the Plough who beat South Newton & Wishford 2-0.

The Royal George now share the lead at the top of Division One with Kings Arms and Meadow Park after beating Chalke Valley 4-2.

Valley took the lead before Marcus Turner levelled for Royal George late in the first half.

However, the second period saw the home side hit a purple patch.

Within a minute of the restart Mark Webb's strong run from midfield and subsequent cross found Turner who netted at the second attempt.

But 11 minutes from time, the visitors again levelled.

Webb beat the 'keeper from fully 35 yards to restore the home side's advantage before Paul Blandford's 86th minute cross from the right was turned home by Alex Tutton for his tenth goal of the season.

Stockton & Codford head Division Two after a 9-2 victory over Beacon Sports.
