PROMOTION hopefuls Salisbury City will be looking to make it three away wins in a row when they travel to Histon on Saturday.

Tuesday night's 4-1 success at Dartford, following Saturday's solitary goal victory at Ashford Town, ensured Nick Holmes' side kept up the pressure on Dr Martens Eastern Division leaders Eastbourne and second placed Bashley who now lead the Whites only on goal difference.

It was City's B-boys who did the damage on Tuesday with Brown, Bowers and Bartlett all grabbing the goals.

Stuart Brown put Salisbury in front on 30 minutes before Tyronne Bowers scored the first of his two goals on the hour. Captain Scott Bartlett made it 3-0 on 68 minutes and Bowers completed his brace in injury time after Usher-wood had pulled one back for the hosts.

Holmes said he was delighted by the result and will be hoping for more of the same on Saturday. "We had patches of excellence and we could have scored even more. Tyronne was a constant threat and he probably should have had more than his two."

Holmes added: "Another win on Saturday would really help us get the momentum going."

Whites entertain Chippenham Town on Tuesday in their Wilts Premier Shield Semi-final second leg tie which is neatly poised after a 3-3 draw in the first leg.
