Screwfix First Division: Calne co-manager Kelvin Highmore has threatened changes for Saturday's visit to Chard after seeing his men suffer a surprise reverse at lowly Street.
The visitors showed little sign of the form that has lifted them to third in the First Division table and went down to goals from Aaron Wickman and Jon Hayter
James Lye saw a goal disallowed and Dale Pottinger also hit the bar on a disappointing night for Calne.
Said Highmore: "We were bad all over the pitch and were poor in every department. We had enough there to beat them, but we didn't apply ourselves. Things weren't going right and we didn't even do the basics properly.
"We had a perfectly good goal disallowed when James Lye came from behind Ben Moore to score, but things like that happen when it isn't going your way."
Highmore took advantage of a free Saturday to watch Tuesday's opponents draw 1-1 with Corsham at the weekend, but admitted his scouting mission had proved of little use.
He said: "They had six or seven different players out there to the side I saw on Saturday. It was a totally wasted journey for me. I knew Street had signed a few on for midweek matches, but I didn't realise they had two different teams. But I have no complaints about the result because we were second best."
Street, struggling at the wrong end of the table, produced a performance full of endeavour and took the lead when Wickman fired home a low free-kick from 30 yards.
The game then became a midfield tussle and Calne restricted their hosts to half-chances before Street doubled their lead on the hour.
Matt Peters could only half-clear the ball and the mistake proved costly as Russell Hayter provided the pass for brother Jon to score.
Lye had a goal controversially disallowed almost immediately, and the closest Calne came to salvaging some pride was when Pottinger's 85th minute free kick came back off the bar.
Calne travel to Chard on Saturday and face either Trowbridge or Devizes in the semi-final of the Wiltshire Senior Cup on Wednesday night at The Conigre, Melksham, kick off 7.30pm.
Said Highmore: "Saturday will be a game of two halves due to the slope at Chard and we could make a couple of changes to give people a kick up the backside."
