CHILDREN at the recently opened Nursteed Community School, in Devizes, now have a new seat of learning thanks to one of the companies involved in the school's construction.
Stoneform Ltd, the Bristol-based chartered building company which built the school under contract to Persimmon Homes, wanted to maintain its links with the school after its opening.
The firm decided that a bench would be just the thing to help the students take an occasional break and enjoy the school grounds.
Stoneform's managing director Bob Musson visited the school this week to present the gift to headteacher David Sibun.
Mr Musson said: "We were delighted to have the opportunity to play our small part in creating facilities for the local community and wanted to maintain our links in some way now that the school is home to its first intake of pupils."
