On Sunday there was yet another accident on Thamesdown Drive at the bend by Pembroke Park. Motorists come down the road too fast and lose control of their vehicles.
Over the past 12 months the safety railings on the pedestrian crossing have been flattened (never replaced), motorcyclists have come off, cars have collided and then on Sunday a car driver lost control and flattened railings and traffic lights.
It is only a matter of time before someone gets killed, either a pedestrian or motorist.
Surely the introduction of a traffic calming scheme ie speed bumps or cameras could be put in place before it is too late.
