Chippenham 2nd 15 Devizes 2nd 26
DEVIZES overturned an eight-point deficit to take the honours in Saturday's friendly.
John Wacka scored two tries and Nat Tawaki and Cobus Plank one apiece for the visitors. Tom Curly also added three conversions.
The hosts broke the deadlock thanks to an unconverted try from John Whiteman. Chippenham added a penalty but Devizes began to dominate.
Devizes were the first to settle in the second half and scored a converted try within ten minutes of the restart. Another try ten minutes later gave them the lead for the first time.
The visitors took control of the game and two more tries put the outcome beyond doubt. Williamson crossed for Chippenham and Dan Reynolds added the conversion. Devizes' Colin Barros was sin-binned for exchanging punches with a Chippenham player.
