FREE seminars advising employers of how developments in the Employment Act 2002 can impact on their businesses are being held in Trowbridge and Chippenham.
Much of the new law comes into force on April 6, 2003 and some is already in place.
Run by Wiltshire law firm Goughs, the seminars will cover topics including New Right to Flexible Working, New Rights for Fixed Term, Employees, New Paternity/Maternity Leave and Pay Rights and New Statutory Disciplinary and Grievance Procedure.
The first seminar is at Leigh Park Hotel, Bradford on Avon on Wednesday, followed by one at the Angel Hotel, Chippenham on Thursday. Both start at 6pm and will include light refreshments.
Speakers Chris McGrail, from Goughs Trowbridge office, and Kevin Basnett, from Calne, will also give a short presentation on the subject of corporate killing.
Mr McGrail said: "It is not possible to ignore the new laws. Changes will affect most employers who should be aware of their obligations and the new rights of employees if they are to avoid getting caught in an Employment Tribunal."
To attend, call Chris McGrail at Goughs (01225) 762683 to reserve a place.
