A TEENAGER was repeatedly punched in the face during an unprovoked street assault in Westbury.
The 17-year-old victim was attacked by another teenager as he was walking along Eden Vale Road at 4.10pm on Sunday.
A gang of three teenagers approached the victim, goading him into a fight.
When he refused, one of the gang members punched him several times, causing a bloodied nose, swelling and cuts and bruises to his arm.
In a second separate incident a 32-year-old Corsham man was assaulted in a Westbury Leigh pub.
The victim was drinking in The Hollies at 11.16pm on Sunday night when another drinker punched him in the face.
Police were called to the pub to deal with the fracas and the victim was treated for his injuries, which included cuts, bruises and swelling.
