THERE are just a few weeks left for patients to comment on the care they have received at the Royal United Hospital, Bath.
A random sample of 1,700 people, 850 who were treated as outpatients and 850 who were treated in the emergency department, have been asked to take part in a national survey about the health service.
The survey, led by the Commission for Health Improvement, is meant to make the NHS more patient-focused.
It requires the service to carry out surveys, taking the view that the quality of patient experience can be best assessed by the patients themselves.
Mrs Edwina Lloyd, of the RUH, said: "The information provided by the patients of their experiences at the hospital is effective in pinpointing problem areas. Our clinical teams are eager to use these experiences to improve services."
