It seems to me this immoral, illegal war that has gone ahead without UN backing is more about control and power for those who set themselves up as world leaders.
I grow weary of the constant war mongering of these people the billions being spent on this could be put to much better use.
Isn't it odd how the Iraqi deaths are 'collateral' damage whilst troop deaths are a tragedy? So far the powers that be have done a fine job of killing their own plus a news reporter how mad is that?
This war will breed more terrorists and cause untold suffering. Everyone who doesn't take the time to object to this immoral war collaborates in what is ultimately a horror this time in our name.
I object to this war and I also object to Saddam Hussein and the many other dictators they should be dealt with by international law. I also object to biased media reporting and coverage by reporters who seem to see themselves as extras in a movie. We are killing innocent civilians Saddam will not care about them. How can we recoil and use the Geneva Convention when it suits us? What about the 'parading' of Iraqi POWs? The photo with the gun in one hand the water in the other?
Where is the humanitarian relief? Basra has been without electricity and water for three days. Where are our 'humanitarian agencies'? It is up to us all to demand that our politicians who have unleashed this nightmare are made to listen.
