And today she shared the joys of motherhood with Philip Schofield and Fern Britton on the TV show This Morning.

Sue, 43, from Grange Park in Swindon, said: "It is a day out in London and all very glamorous. The children are so excited."

On March 1, Sue gave birth to Isabelle who is a hit with her 14 siblings.

"We need to organise a rota for holding her because everyone is so smitten," she said. Used to doing eight loads of washing a day, along with the cooking and cleaning, Sue will take a well-earned rest this Sunday.

Besides being showered with cards and gifts, she also looks forward to having breakfast in bed.

Her husband, Ian, 45, supervises the operation.

She said: "Ian makes a big cooked breakfast and he has more than enough hands to help."

After breakfast Sue is given her cards and presents, which can raise a few laughs.

"They try not to get the same cards. But sometimes a few duplicates crop up and make my mantelpiece look quite amusing," she said.

Having experienced what Sue described as "birthdays and Christmas rolled into one", the Poveys plan to go for a family walk.

Proud of their mother, the children aim to make Sunday as relaxing for her as possible.

Matt, 13, said: "I've already got her some presents because she is so amazing.

"I also intend to help with the housework, including the washing up."

And Katie, eight, is equally keen to take the weight off Sue's feet for a change. She said: "Mum definitely deserves a rest. I admire her but don't think I could have so many children."

Meanwhile Swindon star Melinda Messenger is also delighted after being nominated Celebrity Mum of the Year 2003.

The former glamour model and TV presenter lives in Wanborough with husband Wayne Roberts and two sons, Morgan, two, and one-year-old Flynn.

Victoria Beckham, Cherie Blair and the Queen were among the candidates she beat in the poll, run by Quality Street.

Melinda, 32, who won the hearts of the British public with her appearance last year on Celebrity Big Brother, greeted the news modestly.

She said: "I am flattered to receive this title but do not lose sight of the fact that there are far more deserving women than me."
