POLICE are warning people to be wary of street salesmen after electrical tools were seized in Trowbridge on Tuesday.
The tools were being sold from the back of a transit van which was parked at St Thomas Road.
An anonymous caller alerted the police and Trading Standards officers from Wiltshire County Council confiscated the tools for further investigation.
Sgt Martin Schorah said: "People need to be very cautious and ring the police if they are suspicious."
