FIRST Great Western is advising customers to reserve seats on its Easter services between London, South Wales, South West England, the Thames Valley and the Cotswolds, as there is likely to be high demand.
And from Good Friday, April 18, until Easter Monday, April 21, Network Rail engineering work on signalling systems means services running through Swindon will start and terminate at Ealing Broadway.
However, the train operator's services will be running as usual from London Paddington for the most popular days before and after the Bank Holiday weekend.
As well as timetable amendments because of the engineering work, other alterations will apply because of the holiday.
Over the four-day weekend First Great Western will be running a service each hour to and from the West of England, Bristol and South Wales.
