PUPILS at St Joseph's Lower School in Swindon take to the stage tonight to recreate the children's classic Wind in the Willows.
A cast of 40 are acting out the popular story of Badger, Ratty, Moley and Mr Toad and their encounter with the evil stoats.
The 11 to 13-year-olds are performing a musical version of the story specially adapted for schools.
Musical director Mel Collins said: "They have been very enthusiastic and shown a lot of commitment, there's been a good team spirit.
"The main characters have worked particularly hard because they are in just about every scene."
Tickets, price £3.50, are still available for tonight's show which starts at 7.30pm. They are available on the door, for more details call 536393.
