A DOCTORS' surgery and a library could be added to the Pinehurst People's Centre.
A consultation exercise is being carried out to discover what local residents think of the idea.
Plans to add extra services to the Beech Avenue centre were first mooted two years ago following a consultation with residents.
The Pinehurst Community Association and Swindon Borough Council, which jointly manage the centre, has now looked into the scheme and fleshed out the ideas.
An unnamed surgery is understood to be keen to relocate there.
The council has also said Pinehurst's existing library could be moved into the building, although this is far from certain.
A series of meetings is planned.
