A CANOE club is to show off new equipment it has bought with a £4,900 Lottery grant.
Highworth Canoe Club will hold an exhibition on Saturday in the Market Square from 9am until noon.
Club treasurer Roger Guy said: "The purpose of the display is to inform the public about the grant we received last summer and show the items we have recently bought. They include 10 polo boats, helmets and paddles.
"It will be a good opportunity for people to find out more about the club.
"Anyone is welcome, from complete beginners to members of other canoe clubs in the area.
"The club aims to use the equipment to promote locally a Junior Canoe Polo League. The display will include the information about the Polo League and the Canoe Club."
The club practises at Bowmoor Sailing Club, Lechlade, twice a week.
