Marlborough has announced the arrival of ex-England Schoolboys Coach Steve Ralph-Bowman to the club's coaching staff.
Ralph-Bowman's record and experience as a rugby coach is well known throughout the rugby world.
Currently he is a teacher at Bishop Wordsworth's Grammar School for Boys in Salisbury, and has had a huge success as a coach both in the adult and schoolboy level.
Ralph-Bowman is a Level 4 Coach, and has led the rugby at Bishops for the last 30 years.
He has transformed the school's rugby sides into some of the most respected in Britain and it is widely regarded as the best rugby playing state school in Wiltshire.
Ex-pupils, who have gained from Ralph-Bowman's coaching at Bishops, are current England international flanker Richard Hill, David Edgerton and ex England under 21 scrum-half Marcus Olsen.
Ralph-Bowman coached the 1991 Bishop Wordsworth's side which reached the Daily Mail Cup Final.
Other successes include triumphs as the coach of the under 16s and under 18s South West Divisional sides, as well as the England Schoolboy A Side.
Ralph-Bowman has also coached the Senior First XV at Salisbury RFC and Bournemouth RFC.
Club captain Mike Banfield said: "I'm so pleased that the club has managed to attract such a high profile coach to the club.
"It says a lot about our ambition."
Current Player/Coach Geraint Jones will be working alongside Steve and is looking forward to teaming up with him.
"I have been a colleague of Steve's at Bishops School for two years so I know his coaching style well. He is, without doubt, the best rugby coach I have worked with. "
