EMPLOYEES from Swindon's Withy King solicitors have helped raise £7,000 for Dorothy House Hospice Care.
Six women from the firm, which is based in Newport Street, Old Town, took part in the charity's recent Girls on Top Driving Challenge, which tested their skills on a variety of vehicles including a tank, fire engine, lorry, tractor and milk float.
Dorothy House Hospice Care provides care and support for more than 500 patients with life threatening illnesses and their families in North and West Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset. Patients are cared for in their own homes, community hospitals or care homes. The main hospice in Winsley provides short-stay respite and day care. All care is free and is paid for by voluntary donations, income form charity shops, legacies and support from the NHS.
