DANNY INVINCIBLE looked odds-on to head Town's list of summer departures today as Andy King prepared to reveal the futures of all 13 out-of-contract stars at the County Ground.
The manager was expected to watch the reserves in action against Cheltenham this afternoon before clearing up the growing speculation surrounding his squad.
King has met with all those whose deals expire in the summer but it may be some time before the situation is completely resolved as players mull over the deals on offer.
Matters came to a head on Saturday after Town's 1-0 defeat at Colchester.
King demanded to know by Monday whether players wished to stay with the club.
The manager has remained tight-lipped since but was poised to break his silence today.
Invincible, pictured right, has attracted the most attention and fans are eagerly awaiting news.
He is leaving it to his manager to announce his decision, feeling that is the most appropriate way to proceed.
He said: "I met with the gaffer on Monday but I don't want to say anything more at this stage."
If Invincible does indeed decide that his future lies elsewhere, there may be some good news as far as another fans' favourite is concerned.
Defender Matty Heywood looks likely to accept a new deal when it is offered to him.
The former Burnley man confirmed after Saturday's defeat at Colchester that he was happy to stay and was just waiting for the club to offer him a deal to sign.
