Sam Mace, Tom Inman, James Pine, James Glover, Dan Smith and Harry Cook also found the net before Justin Preece scored a last-minute consolation for the visitors.

In the same division, leaders Amesbury Juniors' title hopes were boosted by a 4-1 victory against second placed Bemerton Heath Harlequins.

Redlynch & Woodfalls United's under 12s registered their ninth win of the season with a 7-3 success at basement side Fordingbridge Town.

Meanwhile, in the under 11s section, Amesbury Lions roared to a 9-0 win against Laverstock & Ford.

Salisbury Juniors raced into a 5-0 half-time lead against Broughton in their HSA Youth League under 12s clash.

Will Hawkins opened the scoring before providing Ricki Harrison with a simple tap in.

Two Stuart Wiltshire goals followed before Mike Nicholson added the fifth.

Salisbury took their foot off the gas in the second half and as Broughton began to claw their way back, Salisbury 'keeper Tom Robinson was forced to make three excellent saves.

Robinson later got his name on the scoresheet when Salisbury were awarded a penalty.

Matt Goodman had earlier grabbed their other goal.
