FOOTBALL: Ludgershall looked intent on spoiling the party and went for a solid defensive formation in an attempt to frustrate their title-chasing visitors.
The first half was all Laverstock but they found it difficult to break down the Ludgershall backline. The all-important first goal eventually arrived with just two minutes of the half remaining.
Dom Male picked the ball up in his own half. His pace took him clear of his marker and a fine 20-yard strike saw the ball hit the roof of the net.
In the second half Laverstock began to find space, carving open the Ludgershall defence with some neat passing. Toby Giles' exquisite shot into the far corner of the net lifted any remaining nerves.
Tutton completed the scoring moments after Graham Mankin's 30-yard chip bounced back off the bar.
