HUNDREDS of people took advantage of the good weather at this year's lambing weekend at Wiltshire College Lackham.
Many took along picnic baskets to the event, near Lackham, with Mothering Sunday proving to be the busiest day.
Sue Bolhovener, director of commercial activities at the college, said: "Lambing weekend was a great success, the weather was wonderful and it was a great tonic to see the many smiling faces of the visitors who enjoyed a great day."
A squad of tractors and trailers were used to ferry families from the main house to the working farm, where visitors could see new lambs, their mothers and a herd of cows.
Olivia Hutchins, five, of Chippenham, was delighted to see the lambs.
She said: "They are very small and sweet and feel like my jumper. I would like to take one home."
