IN a bid to raise money for children less fortunate than themselves, pupils at Corsham Regis School have been raising money for Water Aid.
The pupils organised a Blue Peter bring and buy sale and raised £156 for the water charity.
Deputy Head at Corsham Regis Lesley Newman said: "It was a huge success and we were very proud of the children because they set up the whole event themselves.
"They sent out letters to parents, made posters and set up and ran all the stalls."
There was a tombola, toy stall, bookstall and raffle, with the main prize of a huge cake with the blue peter emblem on it for the person with the lucky ticket.
Mrs Newman said: "The children were really inspired by the Blue Peter programme, and they are very concerned about other children not having clean water.
"They worked so hard to get this event going and I am really pleased it was such a success."
