THE Gazette and Herald is launching a campaign to send goodies to the men and women from Wiltshire who are laying their lives on the line in Iraq.
Amid the scorching sun and arrid desert sand their thoughts will often turn to home and the comforts they have left behind.
We are asking readers to fill a shoebox with a few little luxuries to make their lives a tiny bit more bearable.
Filling a small box is not much effort when compared with the huge sacrifices being made thousands of miles away.
But it is amazing how much these comforts can do to improve moral and remind the troops that we are thinking of them.
We urge all of our readers to do their bit.
