PETER Hagelthorn has been appointed captain of the Wiltshire O50s County Cricket Club for the 2003 season, which begins with an away fixture at Dorset on May 22.
Other officers elected were Steve Steir, of Trowbridge, as president, South Newton's Dick Moulding as chairman, while Gwun Blenkinsop as secretary and Malmesbury's John Williams as treasurer.
Said Hagelthorn: "Any cricketer wishing to continue playing after the age of 50 having enjoyed club cricket should make himself available.
