SWINDON AND DISTRICT LEAGUE: DIVISION One side Queenstown turned in a stunning performance to draw 3-3 after extra-time with unbeaten Premier Division favourites 147 Club in an Adver Cup semi-final.
An own goal from Queenstown's Bob Woolston put 147 ahead, but he was rescued by team-mates Gareth Thomas, Steve Kelly and Chris Bailey.
Queenstown keeper Dave Lever had an outstanding game, saving his side on several occasions, including one in the last minute of extra-time. But he too was beaten twice more, by John Husband with a 30-yard screamer into the top left hand corner of the net, and Robbie Poynter.
In the Premier Division, the match between Allied Goodheart and Lower Stratton was a credit to both teams for the sportsmanship and also the level of skill. A 2-2 draw was a fitting result with goals from James Grant and Rob Cunningham for Allied, and replies from Mark Flatman and Reece Dunning.
Swindon Asians beat Nalgo Sports 3-0 with goals from Dulah Niah and M Lalli (2).
In Division One there is still a lot to play for with leading teams dropping points in the last three weeks.
Queensfield were the only top team playing. They beat Southbrook 3-2 in a tense and exciting encounter, with goals from William Goddard, Simon Titcombe and Gerry Ellis. Southbrook scorers were Gareth Pearce and Barry Hunter.
Barron Heating kept up their recent impressive run with a 6-0 thrashing of South Marston Carriers. Their scorers included Aaron Wilson and Paul Skeates, Jimmy Williams, Dean Stockford and Darren Dobson.
The other game that should have taken place was called off, due to a lot of Blyscawica players being injured.
In Division Two, County Ground Reserves had to pull out all the stops to beat Stratton Argyle 2-0 with goals from Mark Thatcher and Darren Wallace.
Queenstown Reserves were beaten 2-1 at home by Westlecot United, who are making a late bid for one of the promotion places. Ashley Edenborough and Darren Sutton were on target.
