PEG seven seems to be the hot peg a the moment at Ivy House Lakes, with two wins and a fourth placing in the last three matches.

John Morgan started the peg off by taking a fabulous 87lb 12oz bag of carp in the Wednesday Open.

Chippenham's Elick Payne followed with 42-12-0 from peg 24. Alan Scully was third with 24-5-0 (peg 21) and Paul Mathews was fourth with 21-13-0 (peg 5). Barry Jee continued the run of form of peg 7 by winning Friday's Veterans match with 35-7-0. Len Simpson was second with 29-5-0 (peg 21) and Simon Jones was third with 16-4-0 (peg 16). Thirty three anglers fished the Saturday Open where Steve Eeles triumphed from peg 5 with 55lb. Kevin Millard followed with 39-8-0 from peg 1. Gary Laidler was third with 30-8-0 (peg 29).
