AN ELITE team of policemen, rugby players and skydivers is lining up for the challenge of a lifetime to raise money for the Prospect Hospice.
On Tuesday the hospice will launch Challenge 2003, sponsored by the Nationwide Building Society, which asks people to challenge themselves and raise sponsorship for the hospice.
It kicks off with the Challenge team taking on the pupils of Wroughton Infants School in a tug of war called the Pull for Prospect.
The charity wants to raise £30,000 to refurbish the in-patient unit, and the campaign runs from April until November this year.
You can choose your own challenge but it could be anything from running a marathon to learning a foreign language.
A team from Swindon College will be sitting in a bath of baked beans and a group of Nationwide staff are taking part in a tandem skydive.
If you are interested in taking part in Challenge 2003 contact Gillian at the hospice on Swindon 815142, or email: grichardson@prospect- hospice.org.uk
