A REFRIGERATED lorry carrying a variety of different gases in pressurised tanks caused a 24-hour road closure after crashing into a ditch beside the A417, running through Buscot, near Lechlade.
After attending the accident at 3pm yesterday, the fire service decided they could not move the vehicle for 24-hours as they needed to allow the gases to stabilise.
The area has been cordoned off and the road was due to be closed to traffic until this afternoon.
